PCA is hiring a Collections Associate for our Nashville, TN location.

Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to:

 

  • Collections on Long Term Care private statements involving insurance co-pays and private charges
  • Process payments to Accounts Receivable
  • Working with insurance companies regarding payments and policies
  • Assist in processing new patients
  • Assisting with End of Month Statements

Qualifications

Candidates are preferred to have the following qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Accounting (or equivalent) with experience in managing Accounts Receivable/Collections
  • Knowledge of medical billing terms, insurance plan types, and medical terms regarding pharmacy billing is a plus but not required
  • Retail pharmacy knowledge a plus, but not required
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks, prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Ability to perform duties independently
  • Professional phone etiquette
  • Computer skills; Microsoft Office Applications
