Processes and provides guidance, support and coordination of application of programs, policies, procedures and practices of the Human Resources Department. Establishes, organizes and supervises the maintenance of personnel records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Establishes, organizes and maintains departmental personnel records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Assists and provides administrative support for department senior leadership. Prepares and coordinates the completion of human resources documents as requested. Ensures confidentiality and accuracy of
documents and recordkeeping.
Maintains and coordinates the printing departmental special projects as requested.
Prepares and assists as requested with human resources reporting within the payroll and HRIS systems.
Distributes documents to Payroll for processing.
Receives unemployment claims and processes with third party administrator (TPA). Maintains copy of
claim(s) as required. Responds to inquiry requests as needed.
Maintains and coordinates the printing of supplies for orientation packets, benefit enrollment, and other
special projects as requested.
Assists with tuition reimbursement. Checks documentation, qualifications per plan definition and prepares
Assists with mail distribution, prepares spreadsheets and a number of statistical reports
Assists with phones for the Administrative and Pharmacy staff.
Assists with the distribution of the newsletters.
Assists Human Resources with arrangements for company functions (e.g., employee appreciation, holiday
Applies for and obtains the licenses for all employees upon hire and annually. Maintains the HR records of
the licenses for audit purposes and oversees federal and state legal postings for employee break room and
Creates manuals and education materials electronically and prepares them for print. Once received compiles
the manuals and education materials and prepares them for distribution.
Prepares and distributes phone lists and updates as needed.
Assists with special projects as needed.
Minimal travel including overnight stay as necessary.
One (1) to three (3) years’ human resources experience. Healthcare, pharmacy, senior living or long-term
care experience preferred.
HRIS and ADP Payroll systems preferred.
Exemplary computer skills that include knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
