    • Oversees the packing of all medications.
    • Oversees and ensure that all pre-pack machines and heating units are operational.
    • Ensures the proper use of label printers by staff.
    • Oversees the proper clean-up techniques used for prepack machines.  Adheres to policies and procedures on operational standards.
    • Manages the stocking and re-stocking of all stock cards.
    • Oversees the retrieving and sorting of all medication to be packaged.
    • Ensures the proper handling of hand-filled drugs.
    • Manages and ensures that all pre-packed medication is taken to the Pharmacist area for checkingand control processing/verification.
    • Receives and responds to packing complaints and/or issues. Forwards escalated concerns to the Pharmacist-In-Charge (PIC).
    • Reviews and verifies customer and order information for corectness, checking it against previously obtained information as necessary.
    • Assists specified departments or units in the preparation and shipment of orders to designated locations.
    • Reviews prepack orders for completeness according to reporting procedures and forwards incomplete orders for further processing.
    • Maintains accurate, detailed reports and records.
    • Minimal travel including overnight stay as necessary.
    • Supports location, departmental goals, and the overall objectives of the Company.
    • Complies with all laws, regulations and standards of ethical conduct.
    • Responsible for uncompromising levels of cleanliness and safety.
    • Performs all job duties with a friendly positive and team-oriented approach.
    • Maintains professional/technical competencies and proficiencies for job responsibilities.
    • Complies with all Company policies, procedures, rules and standards.


    • High School diploma or equivalent.   Associates degree preferred.



    • Pharmacy Technician as required by State regulatory requirements.



    • Three (3) to five (5) years' pharmacy  experience. Healthcare, senior living industry, assisted living, pharmacy or long-term care environment preferred.
    • Minimum one (1) year multi-facility experience preferred.
    • QS1 experience preferred.
    • Exemplary computer skills that include knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
