    Responsibilities

    This position will work closely with the pharmacist following up on customer phone calls and must possess effective and professional communication skills.  Background in long-term care is preferred.

    • This position requires good phone etiquette, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail.
    • Will perform designated pharmacy compliance tasks assigned to the position.
    • Provide support to pharmacist and pharmacy team as delegated.
    • Ensure that our customers are the first priority.

    Qualifications

     

    Candidates must be a friendly and hard working person who works well independently and as part of a team.  Good organizational skills, knowledge of prescription terminology, and the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced and changing environment is required.   Ability to work and communicate well with others to ensure the success of the company is a must.

    • Available to work overtime when needed
    • Knowledge of medical language and abbreviations
