  • Responsibilities

    • Troubleshoots pharmacy software issues by end-users. Provides support for pharmacy systems and processes.
    • Configures PC’s and notebook computers, installs computer software and hardware and installs upgrades and patches.
    • Analyzes and provides support with problems associated with peripherals located on the LAN.
    • Supports IT customer service objectives by follow through of customer service processes, objectives and procedures. 
    • Resolves problems, completes audits, identifies customer service trends, determines systems improvements and provides technical support in implementing change. 
    • Provides feedback to IT team concerning new technologies and procedures.
    • Serves as information technology partner to troubleshoot individual user or network issues/problems.
    • Minimal travel including overnight stay as necessary.
    • Meets Expectations of Excellence for position.
    • Supports campuses, departmental goals and the overall objectives of the Company.
    • Complies with all laws, regulations and standards of ethical conduct.
    • Performs all job duties with a friendly positive and team-oriented approach.
    • Complies with all Company policies, procedures, rules and standards.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science or related field from a four-year college or university.  Graduate degree preferred.

     

    Licenses/Certifications

    • A+, N+ and Microsoft MCTS and MCITP preferred

     

    Experience:

    • One (1) to three (3) years’ information technology experience.  Healthcare, senior living industry, pharmacy or long-term care environment preferred.
    • ITIL or COBIT and Microsoft Office Suite of products experience.
